Nik Von Frankenberg, Permi Jhooti and Florian Oberhauser will be taking live heartbeats from the audience for an interactive live jam and to finally create the basis for the live DJ set from Nik.

Like a DJ in the club or a producer in the studio, rhythms, loops and sounds are used as the basis for artistic expression. The difference here is that the source is the human heart beat. A pulse sensor is used to read this and it is then converted into a midi signal. This allows various forms of sound processing and generation. The aim is to audibly emphasize our connection to the most basic of life’s rhythms.
